Kitesurfing is a sport that is quite new but attracts sensation seekers. Every day people always find something new to give them a way out of their daily routine. This involves the use of electric kites to attract riders on the water with a small surfboard or kiteboard.

Something radical from something simple
Flying kites are a passive safe game. However, if you use it for other purposes it can be interesting. The use of kites for propulsion comes from China. In the 1800s kites were used to push ships and carts using a 4-line control system. The main purpose at that time was to replace horsepower to horsepower due to horse tax.

In the 70s, Kevlar and Spectra flying kites were made, making them more controlled and efficient with more kite traction. In the 80s kites were combined with snow skiing, roller skates, canoe shoes, and water shoes.

Kitesurfing development continues as better designs emerge. In November 1984 the first rubber design was patented. Since then, it has been used by many companies to make their own products. In 1997 the design of the "Wipika" kite was developed and sold.

It has formed a rubber tube and a simple bridle system that helps launch it back in the water. In 1997 kiteboards were developed and replaced by skis. In 1999 kitesurfing turned into mainstream sports. The first competition took place on Maui in September 1998. Schools that teach kitesurfing have also emerged.

Kitesurfing can be learned through kitesurfing school. These schools provide courses and lessons to teach students all the skills they need for kitesurfing. These include, flying, kite launching, landing, how to use bars, including lines and safety devices. Enthusiastic students must take lessons from certified kite surfing instructors because equipment can easily be misunderstood.

This may look easy from the beach but there are a number of considerations to consider such as kite settings, size and type. Students must also learn the right way to operate and maintain electric kites.

After students learn the techniques of flying kites, they now have to learn bodydragging. Electric kites were flown and students were dragged through the water. This method is very similar to body surfing but by lifting it up instead of being pulled forward. Kitesurfing equipment can cost anywhere from $ 1000 to $ 3000. Apart from standard equipment, you may need to buy different buoys, gloves, boots, hoods, wetsuits and kites for various conditions.
